LyondellBasell license products

Kunststoffwerk VOERDE is the exclusive German license compounder of LyondellBasell for polypropylene grades, producing them in its plant at Ennepetal/Germany exactly according to the formulations of LyondellBasell and distributing them throughout Europe.

On the basis of a license agreement with LyondellBasell, Kunststoffwerk VOERDE produces and distributes a wide range of Hostacom, Hifax and Softell polypropylene compounds

  • unfilled
  • mineral or glass fibre reinforced
  • impact modified
  • with functional additives
These grades are mainly used in the automotive industry, in the electric and electronic industry and in the home appliance industry.

Toll Compounding

For quite a lot of well-known big plastics producers, Kunststoffwerk VOERDE works as a contractor and processes a wide range of thermoplastic compounds according to their recipes, technical specifications and defined process conditions.

In this business Kunststoffwerk VOERDE manages the jobs that the partners of the plastics producing industry cannot or do not want to do. The manufactured grades are sold under the brand names and the responsibility of the partners.

Mutual trust and reliability, high level quality standards and strict adherence to secrecy agreements form the basis of long-standing cooperation.

The state-of-the-art single and twin screw extrusion lines of Kunststoffwerk VOERDE are flexibly configurable and allow productions of a wide range of different polymers, such as PP, PE, PA, ABS, SMA, PBT, POM, TPE, unfilled and reinforced, in natural, black and any colour.
